Ascend is designed to be used by college instructors in any subject area.
Individuals who support faculty training and development (e.g. Instructional coaches, college administrators, support organization) can also leverage Ascend in collaboration with instructors to understand trends in students’ experiences and/or identify, celebrate, and learn from the wisdom of instructors or departments that are exceptionally good at creating engaging and equitable learning conditions.
PERTS recommends against surveying students in more than 4 of their classes at the same time because of survey fatigue.
