What is Community Archiving?

Community Leads can archive a Community that is no longer actively collecting survey responses, like at the end of a term, to make the program homepage easier to navigate. When a Community is archived, it is removed from the program homepage for all Community Members and every page within the Community includes a banner that reads, “You are viewing an archived community.” In addition, several features are disabled. For example, Members and Classes can no longer be added to an archived Community.

In archived Communities, reports remain accessible for the remainder of the school year.

Note: Classes are not archived. A Class in an archived Community can still appear in a Community that is not archived and, the participation code can still be used. We strongly suggest locking rosters for Classes that are no longer collecting survey responses.
