How to use the Network Participation Dashboard

The participation dashboard enables you to track participation on the level of Network, Community, and Class Lead. Unlike reports, which are updated weekly, the Participation Dashboard is updated every night.

If you’d like to download Participation Dashboard data, click Export in the top, right corner of the page or the top right corner of the relevant section.

Participation Overview:

  • Communities show the number of Communities in your Network.

  • Class Leads shows the total number of unique Class Leads in the Network.

  • Classes shows the total number of Classes in the Network.

  • Students/Participants shows the total number of unique students/participants in the Network.

  • Enrollments shows the total number of participants listed on every Class roster, counting participants each time they appear in a different class. The number of enrollments is usually higher than the number of unique students/participants because the same individual might be in two or more Classes. Enrollments are used as the denominator in all Participation Rate calculations. Learn more about enrollments.

  • Respondents shows the number of unique participants who responded to at least one survey.

Participation by Survey:

  • Respondents refers to the number of unique individuals who responded to the survey. You can hover over the bar to show an exact number.

  • Participation Rate can be viewed by hovering over the line. Calculations account for the fact that participants might be enrolled in multiple Classes. They show the percent of enrollments that resulted in a valid response to a given survey. The denominator for the participation rate calculation is enrollments, not unique students/participants, because individuals may have been invited to participate in more than one Class. Learn more about how participation rates are calculated.

  • # of Class Leads meeting 50% participation shows the number of Class Leads who had a 50% or higher participation rate in at least one Class for which they are the Class Lead.

  • % of Class Leads meeting 50% participation can be viewed by hovering over the bar. It shows the percent of Class Leads who had a 50% or higher participation rate in at least one Class for which they are the Class Lead.
