There are three types of reports in Ascend, Catalyze, and Elevate. You may review an overview for each program by following these links:
Each report can only be accessed by authorized PERTS staff and by individuals with specific roles and permissions, as demonstrated in the table and described below.
Report Access Summary
Class/Group Reports summarize survey results from a single Class/Group and are only accessible to the "Class/Group Lead(s)." In Ascend and Elevate, the instructor(s) for a given class are typically its Class Lead(s). In Catalyze, the organization leader, like the school principal, is typically the Group Lead. Class/Group Leads can be removed or added to a Class by the existing Class/Group Lead or the Community Lead.
Community Reports pool together results across all the Classes/Groups in a given Community and can be accessed by any Community Member. Community Reports only show pooled data, they do not separate out data by individual Class/Group. For example, in Ascend and Elevate the “Math Department” Community may show the percentage of students who experience “Feedback for Growth” in all Math Classes. This type of report enables an instructor to compare their own results (from their private, Class Report) to the averages in their Community (from the shared, Community Report) and can also provide insight into large-scale trends.
Please consider, while Community Reports pool together results across Classes/Groups in a Community, if a Community includes only one instructor’s Class(es) or if an instructor gathers students’ survey responses the week before others in the Community, only their data will be displayed in the Community Report until additional data is collected.
Network Reports are only available with an institutional license and can only be accessed by Network Leads. Network Reports present data from multiple Communities side-by-side. For example, a Network Report could be configured to show side-by-side the average results from Classes in the “Math Department” Community and Classes in the “Social Studies Department” Community.
